virtual nutritional counseling & yoga for embodiment
WELCOME
Hi there, I’m Emma, and I’m so happy you’re here.
As a registered dietitian with over half a decade of experience across all levels of eating disorder treatment and care, I am committed to helping you build a better relationship with your body and with food via virtual nutritional counseling and support.
This stuff is hard for all of us each and every day, but you don’t have to go it alone.
No matter how far away it may seem, you can find food freedom and release yourself from shame and anxiety around food. Food is only one aspect of life, and it doesn’t deserve to take up all your precious energy.
As a yoga teacher, my mission is to guide others toward embodiment, self-compassion, and a deeper appreciation for their bodies—shifting from objectification to true connection.
I’m here to help you every step of the way, so let’s chat!
My approach
As a human-first dietitian, I’m committed to helping you create a better, more fulfilling relationship with your body and with food, prioritizing compassion and self love above all.
How will we get there?
I practice a non-diet approach, which means we don’t place any moral value on any foods. All foods provide nutrition for our bodies & souls. Through this work, I will equip you with nutrition education about what nutrients do for our bodies, and why eating a variety of foods is more important than putting any one food on a pedestal.
I adhere to a health-at-every-size philosophy as a cornerstone of my practice - yes, all bodies are good bodies! As a young woman who grew up in the midst of the media’s obsession with fad diets and quick fixes, I know firsthand how impossible it can feel to learn how to nourish our bodies and souls in a way that prioritizes our well being. This means we prioritize health and wellbeing over size, always.
I believe physical & mental health are equally important in this work, and we will work together to create a holistic plan that addresses the needs of each. Whether it’s integrating a yoga practice to manage stress, working with your existing therapist, or adding a meditation practice for anxiety, navigating physical recovery takes commitment to mental wellbeing, too.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to recovery. Everyone’s journey and relationship with food and their body is unique, and it’s important we prioritize having self compassion throughout this process. I’ll meet you where you are so you feel supported every step of the way.
It takes a village! It’s so important to back each other in this work, and I love to be a support system for families to understand how they can get behind their loved ones who are going through ED recovery. This work is difficult to navigate for anyone, but together, we will build the right team to support your journey start to finish.
So let’s get started! I will work with YOU to understand your needs, develop a plan, and stay on track to meet your goals.
